We have just got back from a long weekend at Cop Farm and couldn't be more complimentary. The property is just as stunning as the pictures would suggest - probably more so in fact. Tremendous views from most aspects and a particularly dramatic, panoramic view of the peaks from the terrace/hot tub and surrounding garden. Any family group keen on outdoor pursuits and/or the countryside in general will not be disappointed by the location - plentiful bridleways and quiet lanes for hiking, cycling and running. There is also a good pub within easy walking distance. Finally Steve was an outstanding host - straightforward to communicate with at all times (even when he was on holiday he answered phone immediately to resolve query). Overall a great experience and we very much hope to return soon!
We had an excellent weekend at Cop Farm. The house is in a beautiful setting with incredible views. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to cook for large groups. The bedrooms are all of excellent quality and comfortable and the living spaces were perfect!
The host was very quick to answer questions both before arriving and during the stay.

We have just returned from our third visit to Cop Farm and as ever, it was fantastic. The property is of a very high standard and extremely well maintained and provided for with a seemingly never-ending array of high-quality utensils and facilities. The property sits at the top of fell meaning the views of the surrounding valleys are fantastic with stone walls, rugged terrain and livestock in every direction. A very special place that we hope to return to soon.
Such an amazing place in beautiful surroundings. Me and a group of friends stayed here to celebrate my husband turning 40. It was so spacious and had great facilities. Steve the owner was so helpful. Would definitely recommend to all friends and family.
A truly wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Peak District with uninterrupted views across the fields. With a great walk if you’re feeling it to castleton for a drink or down the lane for dinner. A great place to chill out and holiday. Would absolutely recommend staying.
An absolutely superb choice for a quiet and relaxing retreat in most breathtaking unspoilt surroundings.
The accomodations were A1 for all our family and our hosts were super helpful from beginning to end.
